From SEO Earnings
Just got an email from Adsense Team, they have been working on the new features on Adsense and here are the update from their email:
1. Google AdWords referrals
We have added Google AdWords to the growing list of products which you can refer to your users using the AdSense referrals feature. Add an AdWords referral button to your site and inform your users about the value of advertising on Google and our network of partner sites. You will earn $20 when an advertiser you refer spends $100 on advertising within 90 days. AdWords referrals are available by visiting the AdSense Setup tab and choosing Referrals as the product.
2. All-purpose location for code creation
Creating and customising your AdSense ad code is now simpler than ever with the new AdSense Setup tab. Pick a product and we will guide you through the process of generating the ad code with the format, colours and channel of your choice, along with any other specifications you would like. By consolidating your AdSense for content, AdSense for search and Referrals tabs into just one AdSense Setup tab, you can enjoy the streamlined ad setup and discover new features all in one place.
3. AdSense for search box redesign
Design a search box that fits your site using the new AdSense for search formats. We now provide greater customisation and flexibility in size, colour and logo placement. Get creative with your search box by visiting the AdSense Setup tab and choosing AdSense for search as the product.
4. Greater reporting detail
4.1 Separate reporting by ad targeting type
If you have wondered whether advertisers were choosing to target their ads to your specific site, this new reporting feature is great news for you. We have updated our reports to provide separate details for site-targeted and contextually targeted ads. To see what types of ads are showing on your site, visit your Advanced Reports page. From there, choose AdSense for content as the product, show data by 'Individual Ad Unit' and click the checkbox marked Show data by targeting type - contextual or site. When you generate your report, you will see a new column for Targeting Type.
Keep in mind that the eCPM for site-targeted ads may be lower in your reports. This likely occurs when site-targeted ads beat out contextually targeted ads in the auction to display on a subset of your pages.
4.2. Referral advanced reports
We have added referrals to your Advanced Reports page to allow you to view a wider date range for your referral statistics.
